Crap, the got me...

Long story; relatively short, my brother was in the market for a new car, and he already had picked out a Camaro 2LT w/nav + sunroof. We headed over to the dealership (Ferman in Tampa), and of all the Camaro's they had, they didn't have anything that matched that description, other than a convertible. After they tried to upsell him on an RS, we left.

About 3 minutes down the road we saw a Toyota/Scion dealership and he insisted I test drive the FRS. He already had test driven the car, and I hadn't as I wasn't quite ready to purchase a car,. Additionally, I hadn't driven a standard in quite some time, so I was a bit hesitant to give it a spin as I didn't want to come off as a green driver.

After blatantly ignoring me and pulling in to the dealership, we were met by David, who asked me what we were looking at, and happily pulled out the keys to the 6MT FRS. I backed it out, no issue, took it around the block, managed to not stall it on an uphill incline, and I decided I wasn't out of practice enough to the point where I couldn't have the car as a daily driver; however, I was still rather nervous as it has been so long.

So of course, we do the normal talk (it's around 7pm at this time), and before talking numbers or anything, I explained that I wasn't sure if I was ready to purchase the car, and I would need some time to think about it before taking any action.

His sales manager comes out and talks to me about de-horsing me and taking the car home for a day. Personally I was ecstatic. I'm only 24, and I have a baby-face, so I was expecting to be met by some skepticism, but no questions were asked and I got take it home for the day.

I decided to play a prank on my mom and girlfriend, and tell them both that I had bought the car already, to see how they would react. Turned out extremely well, and I was actually surprised how well they both took it, and liked it. So, I headed back to the dealership the next day, and I told them that I loved it, and I had to purchase it.

I really didn't expect to be treated as well as I was when purchasing the car, and I didn't even expect to get it in red, but it grew on me after seeing it in the morning, and after driving it for a day, I knew there wouldn't be another car I could possibly want.

Better non-iPhone/not at night pics to come:
