XXR 962s on FR-S
I have a question, I am thinking about buying XXR 962 rims. Im thinking about also doing it in a staggered set up and dont know too much about doing it. If I bought 17x7 fronts and 17x9 rear are we supposed to use the same tire size all four corners? Because my OEM tires are brand new and seems pointless to waste fresh tires, any idea if its okay/safe to stretch those on all four corners? A bit far fetched from 7" to 9" stretch but any advice is greatly appreciated.
Please no flaming Thanks Also anyone else running these rims please post pics please. |

Too much stagger. Not sure on available sizes, but I'd keep it to 17x8 and 17x9.
If you want to stick with your OEM tires, then go 17x8 on all four corners. The point of going staggered (other than cosmetic) is to fit more tire on the back. |

yeah, you'll need to camber the rear @ 9.75 width and 25 offset
furthermore, the stretch on that size (stock 215) is ridiculous. If you really want that width it's best to go with another tire. 235 tire width minimum edit: shit when I think about it, even 255 is pushing it
