KW V3 camber adjustment

A while back I installed KW V3 on my brz and lowered it 1". When I had the alignment done the tech said that he could either have the camber in the front all the way in or all the way out because the bolt would slip. Additionally he said that if I wanted to make more fine adjustments that I would need to use a wedge to brace strut mounting point. Is he full of BS?
