How much will i get for a 2010 tc trade-in

Im planning to trade my tc when the FRS comes out.... any idea what i will get for it? below are some specs:

2010 tc
color:flint mica
condition: excellent (few small scratches)
mileage: now 42k - by the time FRS is out probably 50k

Side question: will it matter to the dealer if i modified certain things? I got an aftermarket CAI, racing header and exhaust.

If anything they will give you less for it cause they will think you smashed the hell out of it.

Garage
www.autotrader.com

You can check the value there. I would suggest re-installing all the stock parts if you still have them. People prefer buying stock used cars.

NADA is the most accurate [according to dealerships and banks]
KBB is also used by lots of private parties

As others have stated, NADA is the more trusted source for values of a vehicle. We stay away from KBB here in MN for actual value because it primarily represents the big states (CA, FL, TX) that have higher vehicle turnover and dense population spread so the demand for used vehicles is higher than other states.

NADA is the source that we use where I work and a dealer will look to buy your tC with more stock parts. To a dealership, aftermarket parts don't reflect on the vehicle in a positive way. This is even if you put really nice parts on your car. Your body-style tC, if clean, maintains its value better than a lot of other cars from the same category.

Excellent means showroom floor condition, which less than 5% of all used cars fall under. I would say your car is more "Very Good" condition.

You'll get about $1,000-1,500 less unless you put the stock header and exhaust back on. OEM airbox would help too.

Yes put in stock parts before sell/trade to increase the number of interested parties.

I hope you have the stock parts, I never understood why people throw them away.
