M7 Japan T-Titan Catback Exhaust

As with everyone looking for an exhaust, many factors come into place. A main priority for me was sound so I spend some time listening to sound clips online figuring out what I wanted. One that stood out was the M7 Japan T-Titan Catback Exhaust. I stopped by Source, a local vendor, who had the exhaust in stock. I was able to feel how light it was as well as see the quality of the welds and the adjustable titanium tip in person and was sold. They gave me a great price and helped me get it installed right away and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the exhaust, the sound, and the service received. Here are a few pics and a video.

Props on spending $1600 on an exhaust! Haven't heard of M7 Japan before, but looks like a quality piece

I would say it's neither loud nor quiet, it's somewhere in the middle. Only time I wish it was quieter was cold start ups in the mornings, but quiets up a lot once warmed up. You can stay in a high gear with low rpm and be quiet while cruising around town, but open it up in higher RPM you can definitely hear it fill the cabin. There really isn't noticeable drone, just the natural exhaust note you would expect at that RPM range.

another review from Moto Miwa

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theater

M7 Titanium -Stainless full catalytic-back exhaust system on the Beatsonic Scion FRS.
Very easy install, pretty quiet at idle. Overall a really nice system!

No part of it was really heavy, and the main canisters are small and really fits well with 3 points for adjustments.
And with muffler systems, weight is not much of a concern when things are a within a couple of kilograms.
This is because the weight difference at the position so low in the car will not affect handling much at all.
As long as its lighter than stock, which by the way is already really light to start with, it's fine. More important to be less of a spec-head and be a an avid driver.
It's a bit raspy in noise for an AT car like this one, but the soul of the FRS is right there, revealing the hint of the trademark FA20 boxer that should sound like no other Subaru sourced engine with passion for high revs.

Looks great. The sound is top notch. Definitely be my choice if I had the bank.

The noise this thing makes....
I'd like to hear some cruising speed and highway driving sound levels. I know you mentioned above that there isn't much drone but I'd like to know how living with it for a month has been; cruising around; daily driving. I know Chi-town cops don't fancy loud exhausts...

I don't have any cruising videos right now but maybe I'll find some time to make one. So far I've had no cop trouble with this exhaust. I feel like it has gotten quieter once broken in but it might just be me getting used to it. Exhausts like this usually come with a silencer for daily driving so I was a bit surprised that it didn't come with one at first. It really doesn't need it after getting used to it.
