Wrapped - White Carbon Fiber Dash

This weekend I wrapped the dash panels & interior trim pieces with 3M Scotchprint White Carbon Fiber Vinyl Film. It turned out pretty good but I did have a few wrinkles on a couple pieces. I took some pics and I might be able to put together a DIY.

Not bad, but I personally feel white was too drastic of a change. Good job tho

If there was more places to white wrap, maybe. I went with the black 3M 1080 black carbon and I offset it with air vents being just a solid black

I like the wrap on the dash panel; definitely keep that... but the heater vents, center stack and shifter surround are too much IMO. Just reminds me too much of painted interiors in ricey Hondas. What if you painted them piano black instead?

Yeah I agree, and the vent rings turned out pretty horrible anyways. I was trying to get rid of all the silver and see how it looks first. I will probably paint or plastidip the rings for sure, maybe more. I still need to do the steering wheel trim so maybe I will do some matte black or black CF to make them less noticeable. I like contrasting colors and I also hated the silver so I had to do something. Not sure what to do about the VSC/Traction switch yet.

How was the 3M Scotchprint to work with? I was thinking about getting the brushed alum version for my car.

I got it from Amazon, there are many colors and vendors. It is called 3M Scotchprint Carbon Fiber Vinyl Film - White. I am working on a DIY for the dissasembly but I did not take pictures of the application(it didn't go as well as I wanted anyways). I have a few wrinkles at the corners so if I decide to re-do it I will try to take pictures.

looks clean. but the white brightens up the cabin too much for my taste. i like keeping it dark or a subtle highlight. like the inside of a batmobile.

Dash panel looks good, but the rest I think silver carbon would be the way to go.

Looks better than I thought. Reminds me of the Mini interior.
