height concern

I have sat in a BRZ twice and both times I was concerned about the height.

No, no, not being too tall but rather, too short.

I didn't adjust the seat at all.

I'm 5'5 and coming from a 2000 Celica where I have no issues with visibility.

Can anyone relate to my height who has this car already and let me know if there are any issues?

The seats do have a manual adjustment ( you pull the handle to the left of the seat up) to make the seat higher. I would say go back and pump the seat up and give it another try!!

one of the guy i know is 5'2" and he has no problems. He increased the seat height and moved it forward. No problem....it seems the car is made for someone of average height. (with the seat moved up, you might have to crouch a bit to get in/out as you might bump your head on the A pillar)

There is a lever to raise and lower the seat. Go sit in one and adjust the height. I don't think you should have any trouble.

I always wondered how the 7th gen celica was a girls car because I was 5'10 when my brother had one and I felt like I was just tall enough to drive it with good visibility over the hood. I've got lanky legs though.

You'll feel more comfortable in the BRZ in my opinion.

When I gel my hair and have the seat a little up (vertical adjuster lever), my head touches the roof XD

I'm 5'5" and the seat is in its lowest position, the only time I lift up or lean out of my seat it pulling into a blind corner around something like a building or whatever.. Also through a drive-thru.. Otherwise the seat is back, low and I'm the type that likes my steering wheel all the way in and down.. At the track I raised it some and sat more straight up, but not much.. I can see just fine..

I'm about 5 foot 6 and I find the 86 fine to drive. Visibility is average but that's more the car design than my height

68 Inches and have no problem with how I am positioned in the car. When I first sat in it and drove it was like Cinderella putting on that glass slipper. Perfect fit.
