My hot lava seems to stay pretty clean for the most part. Dirt and dust don't show up, but since it's white, road salt residue really shows up. But other, darker stuff you might accumulate seems to hide pretty well on it.

both colors are pretty good at hiding. my hot lava hides dirt very well but if yorue 3 feet away, you can see dirt. just wash it once a week or so and you'll be fine.

Well if you would want to be able to just wash the car simply to get the dirt off i would't very much put opticoat but to each his own.
Orange is the most easy to keep clean. |

The Argento has been fairly easy to keep clean for me. Can't speak for the Hot Lava though. The only issue I had with the Argento was the rail rust. But with some TLC it comes off. I suppose the Hot Lava would hide that much better. Cheers.

Silver is definitely the lowest-maintenance color you can buy. If you also take the additional step of getting it Opti-Guarded, it becomes super easy to clean, too.

Character wise, these are such different colors. If I were you, I would consider the maintenace and appearance between these colors as being close to equal and just pick the color that suits your taste. |

Once you've seen a freshly washed n waxed car, everything looks dirty.
![]() I think silver will do the best job. All the paint options have a nice shine to them that really fades after it gets dusty and dirty.

So you got the car? Great! I was between Asphalt and Argento. I drove all over to see different color examples at dealers. When I saw an asphalt in person, it was too dark for my taste. The Argento is a deep silver and caught my eye. My wife looked at the color line-up on the scion web site and looked them up down real quick and announced that the silver looked like a race car. Who am I to argue.
