Side X Side, HID, Retrofit

Here is a side by side look of a 6k PnP DDM kit in the right headlight housing and a 5k TRS retrofit kit in the left headlight housing
The difference in color

PnP cut off with the squirrel finder bent down

This is aimed at the correct hight

And the retrofit proper hid cutoff

It does need to twist counter clockwise just a bit, but that was all done after this.. This is why PnP kits are bad, and these are in a projector, in a typical halogen housing they are worse. But this is why they are blinding others, I know I know, you don't care... But these are the fact

Everything could could want to find out about HID's

They are a little more blue then in person.. this is taken off a iPad 3.. this was more to show the cut off lines.. some people like the blue, slight blue, and white.. I love my white.. for 20$ tho I thought about getting a set of 6k from trs and see how they compare

It was more just to show the difference of the cut offs for a PnP kit and a retrofit.. I just do t have the same color bulbs, but the cutoff wouldn't change a bit..

Can you explain what you mean by this? I see what looks like *a lot* of glare from the DDM PnP kit.

Edit: Misunderstood pictures

The bottom picture is of my retrofit.. You can see its not exactly straight.. I needed to adjust it just a bit.. It's fixed now.. The DDM PnP kit ... Well there isn't anything to do there.. The plate is made for a halogen bulb.. If I took a picture of the plates you would notice a huge huge difference in the opening

Ok, my cutoff and another local member's cutoff looks nowhere near as terrible as what you are showing. In fact its a rather good cutoff, we both are running HIDs as well.

Stand in front of one head light and check again.. With both of them on the car you don't notice it as much because they fill that dip in a little bit..

Yes the OEM projectors are garbage, some of the worst units Ive ever seen. I know they are halogen-specific projectors but even with halogen bulbs in there they are garbage.
