Driving from LA to Park City, Utah

I am going on a snowboarding trip next weekend and I was wondering if anyone had any input about driving from LA to Utah this time of year. I tried to look it up, but I really do not know what to expect in terms of road conditions. I would take the I-15 North to the US-189 North I believe. I was thinking this would be an awesome excursion to take my BRZ on, just want to make sure it is safe. Thanks

First of all good drive yes, haven't made it in the Fr-s yet but I have on many other occasions. I am in Salt Lake City, this weekend we had a 2 day storm producing almost 2 feet of snow in the valley (20 miles-ish west from Park City) my car was beyond useless! Haven't been to Park City but it being in the mountains I would say they got more snow. You never really know what to expect in this state craziest weather I've ever seen!!

This is after about 2 hours of that storm

If you're stock height and have snow tires it's doable. I just drove from San Jose to Vegas this past weekend and trucks coming down I15 South from Salt Lake area were covered in snow.
