Adhesive Removal on Paint Safely?

Hey everyone,

I have a small outline of what was probably some kind of sticker on my back driver side quarter panel and I want to remove the very slight left over adhesive. Was wondering if anyone with experience in paint knows a good adhesive remover that will not damage the clear coat. I am also going to start doing some research myself into the different ways some of the popular adhesive removers work to figure out paint impact. I need to take a look anyways, I am a chemical engineer, so only reason I don't know is a mix of laziness/no time. Any input from previous experience will be great!

On a side note, I am debadging my car very shortly and I think I will need an adhesive remover for this as well to get it super clean for the new badges.

Thanks guys!

Can you guys give a link, I don't want to go out buying one if there is a couple versions or something ad strip my paint. Sometimes they have like "Industrial" or "Automotive", want to know if I need to find an automotive one.

that may be the case in your area but no stores by me sell Tarminator. Even the auto body distributor carries Stoner products but not Tarminator.

3 cans for $15 at autogeek FYI
