So I was trapped in my car...

This morning my windows were frozen shut. I managed to get the door open and get in to get my windshield scraper but then I couldn't get back out! The window buttons were flashing and not responding. Guess I'll have to get myself some de-icer.... LOL

I've had my experience before. It sucked. Just park it in the sunlight. Fixed it right up.

Needs reinitization when lights blink on switches, and window won't roll down during opening of door.

See steps posted on link on how to do it yourself. :happy0180:

I had my windows act up once, and now keep the scraper in my trunk.

Yep my windows freaked out too - window switch lights flashing etc. Read the (useless) manual. Kept pressing buttons w/o much influence - press and hold, press hold swear, press twice, ..? Today they seem better - maybe it's cause I left my winders cracked open last night!

The window wouldn't roll down to open the door. I could unlatch the door, but the window was up so I couldn't open the door to get out. It was odd. I ended up holding the button down and pulling the window down with my hand as best I could until it opened enough to clear the lip.

I scraped the ice off and the windows still wouldn't work. The lights just kept blinking. Took her to Toyota where they told me (of course) that everything was operating normally and that I should just carry de-icer. I'm not really sure how I can reset the buttons if I can't even get into the car.... Guess it's just one of the kinks they'll hopefully work out.
