Custom sub enclosure with JBL W12Gti MkII

Hey guy just though I would share my audio setup and show off the custom sub enclosure I had made over at Handcrafted Car Audio in Mesa Az so here it goes !

Sub : JBL W12Gti MkII, this thing is crazy, hits very tight even in a ported box and to be honest is probably too much for my poor FRS, even after almost completely dynamating the trunk I still cant get rid of the rattles from the heat shield for the exhaust and what I assume to be the trunk latch. Any one have and thoughts ?

Amp: Kicker 1000.1 IX , not my first choice for an amp by any means but the price was right. I actually pushes surprisingly hard at 3 ohms got it tuned to about 50 V RMS which is about 833 watts.

Enclosure: Custom ported enclosure tuned to 35 Hz made by Handcrafted car audio with a the to scale (except the ports) Toyota 86 logo molded into the face . I'm still looking at getting a grill made with the "86" pressed into it to finish it off but I'm out of money after the enclosure

Deck: Pioneer DEH-80PRS , This is great for the poorly placed FRS speakers to help bring down the highs (which I don't know about you guys but for me where unbearable ) with the auto-eq and time alignment settings.

It was pretty pricey, about 1000 but you get what you pay for, Jon over at handcrafted car audio does some of the best work in the country and defiantly the best in AZ. I would recommend him to anyone hes very professional and looks to meet your needs.

I have seen a lot of their work on diyma.com and they are definitely one of the top shops in the country. Great work on that enclosure but it does seem like overkill for such a small car.

Yeah, I mainly went with it because i work at best buy and there is a really good employee accommodation from JBL on them.
