Dealership advice

Checked both stickied threads, but didn't see either of these dealerships mentioned. I live on the treasure coast and am looking to buy a BRZ, so the 2 closest dealerships are Schumacher in West Palm Beach, and Lehman in Miami.

I've heard bad things about Schumacher, and they've pissed me off in the past. Anyone have any positive experiences with them?

Never heard anything about Lehman but their price seems to be fairly reasonable. Anyone have any experiences with them?

I know a few guys recommended Mastro Subaru. I don't mind driving 2-3 hours to pick up a car, but I might be trading in my S2000 depending what I'm offered, so it makes things a little trickier. I'm thinking of seeing if Mastro will match what the other dealerships offer though.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I got my BRZ from Pompano Beach Subaru, Andre was my salesman. You can try that, let him know David BRZ sent you. (No interest vested from my part, only he would treat you nicer if I sent you ). I tried Lehman, Bird Road and Pembrook Pines before Pompano Beach, but they didn't even want to pre-order the car, didn't even know what I was talking about or had some insane markup(I am from Kendall and had to drive about 50 miles to get it at Pompano).

Now, my REAL advice would be going to Mastro. I've read amazing things from them. What I would do is when your BRZ arrives, go and get a quote from Carmax. Go with that offer in hand and see if they match it. If they don't, you have the fallback option of just taking the car to Carmax and be done with it.

Good Luck!!

Welcome! I agree with Sportsguy. Make the trip to Mastro. I got mine at Pembroke Pines. They were nice but could have been better. Haven't heard good things about Lehman. And going to Mastro gives you a little more time to enjoy the trip back home

Call Mastro Orlando. I was there this weekend getting mine serviced and a manager said two were coming in this week but he thinks one was pre-sold but the other was going to be their first one to actually sit on the lot.

Thanks guys. I actually have a friend that works at Carmax so that should help my appraisal situation I'm going to take it there middle of next week and see what they offer. My plan is to get my Carmax appraisal, call around to various dealerships and see who can offer the best price on a BRZ, and then see if said dealership will match the Carmax offer. I'll give Pompano a call tomorrow and see what their deal is, thanks for the heads up! I'll keep you fellas posted.

I'm going to take my S2000 to Carmax for an appraisal this week for some negotiating leverage. Helps since I live far away from these dealerships...if the offer is good enough I may just sell it to them and buy the BRZ outright. I'll keep you all posted
