anyone done steelies yet?

i was thinking about ordering a set of d windows or AEROs for my frs. i havent seen one yet, and i think it would look "interesting"

i have some diamond racing 13x8s on my track rabbit but i cant get past the weight on the 17's. too heavy to committ to it.

I think the OP is talking more about the wide steelies (popular in the VW, old school honda crowd). I think slammed or with wide fenders it could look awesome, myabe 16x8 or 17x9. Obviously not the way to go for weight savings though LOL

This isn't my car, but was spotted in the wild:



Love the black steelie look! Makes the car look tough, purposeful, stealthy -- almost like a prototype or something.

Here's my car & snow tire setup -- Nitto SN2 205/55/16 on Impreza WRX rims:





The car performs like a champ in the snow with these tires. An absolute blast to drive!
