Live coverage of Toyota 86 at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show
The production Toyota 86 made its auto show debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show this morning (Tokyo time).
Although this was the 86's public auto show debut, the main reveal event appeared to be this past weekend's Toyota 86 reveal event at the Fuji Speedway (info/photos and more photos). There is only one 86 model on display at the show today (seen below). To us it appears that Toyota and Subaru did not wish to steal each other's thunder for their twin reveals and this show was left for Subaru to make a bigger splash with its Subaru BRZ reveal. P.S., the white balance may seem off (too blue) in our show photos, but this is accurate of how Orange Metallic appeared in real life under the show lights. |

I like the BRZ headlights, with this front. Sucks that they didnt let you get close up and actully sit inside. Maybe for the public they may?
