Clear Bra Options

Due to the amount of rock chips I got on my last two cars (350Z, Evo X), I figured I'd look into a clear bra for the FR-S. I don't know much about the quality difference between materials, so I'm curious if anyone out there has anything different than the standard 3M material.

Clear Defender offers pre-cut kits for our cars in the following materials:
  • 3M Scotchguard
  • VentureShield +$10
  • Avery Nano Fusion +$25
They offer the "Extended Hood, Fenders and Mirrors Kit" for $124.95 and the "Front Bumper Kit" for $184.95.

To protect and darken the headlight housings without losing visibility, I'm looking into the SpiderVision Tint from Billet Pro Shop. It comes in 20"x42" or 40"x42" sheets for $65.95 or $129.95 respectively.

Does anyone have any experience with these and/or know how much they'd be to install if I already have the materials? Thanks!

Most shops will charge 500-750 to install including cost of materials so $310 + 450 = 760... I'd just see if a local shop can do it.

I tried 2 local shops (no dealerships). With materials, it was $950 and $1,200. Buying the exact materials on my own cost $300, so I figured $650-$900 for labor was a bit steep compared to their original prices. In that respect, $450 is a deal. The overall price may vary in your geographic region - lowest I've found around here was $890 with materials.
