Question / Help with bodywork
Hi guys, my car was hit by a truck. My question is from the photo below, does it look like the best way to repair the quarter panel is to drill and pull it out then used bondo or replace the whole panel all together. And how much do y'all think it will cost? Thanks, I don't know much about body work.

I mean it depends on how much you want to pay...I don't imagine this being an easy panel to replace but at the same time this is a very large and deep dent, so who knows if it even could be pulled out with permanent creases
Good luck with whatever works for you.

I would want to save the panel if at all possible. Cutting out a piece and welding in another piece can be very dicey. I would try to find a good body shop in the area and get their opinion. Good body shop doesn't necessarily mean the dealership. More often than not the smaller independent shop is going to be the place you want to go. If you have any high end dealers (Rolls, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.) in the area that don't have their own body shop, stop in and ask them who they have do their body work. If I didn't have a clue, that's the route I would take.

some PDR guys (paintless dent repair) can really work miracles. Do some research for an experienced PDR professional in your area. Chances are if you provide them with good photos, they can tell you whether its in their ballpark or if its strictly a body shop deal

Call Curt to see if you can order a rear left. I know one guy ordered a right quarter but one post on SF mentioned that it might not be available anymore. If that's the case, have the body shop, hammer out as much as they can then fill it in.
