Anyone enjoying their snow tires?

My new Michelin X-Ice3's are downright strange. The sidewalls flex, then bounce back, giving the car some quite strange dynamics around fast corners. They also break loose quite easily on wet. I drifted at maybe 10mph this morning. Kind of unexpected. Can't wait to get back to those great Primacy tires!

Honestly mine haven't even seen snow yet. With this recent weather I'm debating putting the summers back on

I hate winters on this car. It feels squirrely at freeway speeds. I assumed that cornering would be compromised, but not straight on cruising.

My Blizzak LM60 Winter Performance tires have been great in dry and wet. Haven't seen any snow or ice though.

They probably feel similar to my truck tires with the huge sidewall. It seems snow tire sidewalls are fairly thin and flexible. They make cornering...interesting.

Maybe I need to switch to X-Ice's then. These Gislaved NordFrost 5's are great in the snow and ice, but with these mild winters we've been seeing in Toronto (I'm sure you guys in NE are seeing as well), they are not fun on my commute to/from work everyday.

Anyway, back to the Patriots game!

I've driven cars just as light on winter tires, but this is different. It must be my tires, but I'm not going to switch up a brand new set. Ah well...

softer compound along with the lightweight, may be the culprit!
i have used blizzaks in the past on a mazda miata with similar results
on the highway.

Got some Blizzak WS70s which haven't seen any snow yet.

They feel very squishy and loud too, especially in the rain. There's noticeably less traction in the rain and my traction lights go on at hard straight line pulls (and my back end wiggles, scary).

I don't like them, but I will when it snows.
