Dash Cover?

Looking to get a dash cover to protect it from dirt/sun and just making cleaner alot easier (only need to vacuum).

What do you guys recommend? Any particular brands which stand out?

ALways thought dash covers are for old grannies and such. Each with their own I guess!

Shevron make dash mats, currently listed on there parts list (used to be located in Malaga but now in Welshpool WA)

http://www.shevron.com.au/wp-content...Catalogue2.pdf

According to the parts finder they have 2 colours listed (Black and Coal), but only Coal is in stock (10 available).

Listed on here for $44. Im pretty sure you can get them through some local auto shops between $39 and $49 usually.

Not sure what brand Repco stocks but I find them a little better than shevron recently (hard thicker shape, not soft thinner fit like shevron).

I also want to see them both in person before buying too (or at least a picture of the design)

Will go in and find out the brand name tomorrow and possibly a p/n.

EDIT: this is the brand I think repco have:

http://www.haigh.com.au/www_dashmats_com_au/

Also get the same brand from Holden dealer spare parts. However they don't have the 86 listed yet or in the future release so we may just have to get the shevron ones for now.

Had a look through the catalogue and future release catalogue. Seems unlikely they will release one for the 86. They didnt have one for the Evo or RX8 or MX5. Seems like it'll be only available for the more common family cars as they would be in higher demand.

You'll have to make sure whatever you get won't impede airbag deployment. I did enjoy having a dash mash in one car I had that had a pocket/storage area on the top, prevented scratches and also sun damage. Would have to see one in person before considering for the BRZ and it'd definitely need to be a dark colour.
