Washing my BRZ and MR2 (timelapse video)

Was bored yesterday so I set up the camera and washed my cars.

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TcURhoO4pA"]Washing my BRZ and MR2 (Time Lapse) - YouTube[/ame]

one of the neatest parts I noticed was watching the suds slowly move down the car...

LOL I knew someone would critique the wash technique.
No 2 bucket for me, I'm not that anal about the paint condition - sure I'll wash the car when it's dirty and put wax every so often but I am not going to stress about swirl marks or such. The car is meant to be driven, not stored airtight in a museum so I'm not going to baby it too much. I treat it right where it matters - with good gas and fluids.

I did wipe it down with clean microfiber towels after I pulled it back in, it was an overcast cool day so water wasn't drying up and leaving water spots. It took me maybe an hour to do both cars? It wasn't a full detail, more to just get the road grime off from the last few days of rain. Even my wife gave me a hard time when I said I didn't bother vacuuming or cleaning the interior, just a quick exterior wash.

That's a good breakdancing song!

I'm not that anal either and don't use the 2 bucket system. I use a completely touchless car wash. And it's probably better than the 2 bucket system since there's less abrasive contact to mar the clear coat!
