Possible Final production cuts.

so i was talking with a friend about the FR-S from scion corprate. I was trying to get some hard number out of him but he wouldn't budge on it. he did mention that it looks like a few things will be changed. the rear diffuser is in danger of getting cut from the final product. the side mirrors are facing changes due to visability. one solution that was thought to be put in is the blind spot monitor from the camry. my friend has another meeting today on the FR-S so he said i could call him later and get more information out of him about it depending on what they are allowed to talk about.

i will definatley post up what information i find out.

You know we don't see any rear shots of the diffuser in the Video posted yesterday....

I hope they don't cut the diffuser....

I seriously doubt they are going to change the mirrors...

They will change the mirrors if they think it's a safety hazard. Lawyers > engineers > designers 100% of the time in cases like that.

That "diffuser" doesn't look functional to me; it's just for show.

I'm just going to wait for NAIAS. leaks from American Scion(none existent)and all these he said she said with no proof and more speculations is getting irritating. No offense.

I could make these threads too, I have friends with Scion and Subaru, but theyre professional enough not to share a thing, that I believe.

By the angle, it's too steep to be functional.

If we didn't have rumor and speculation threads we would have to delete half the board if not more.

So it's not at all possible for the diffuser to have valid aerodynamic benefits based on CFD and tunnel testing, and yet still look unconventional compared to the accepted look of a diffuser?

I'm not trying to be mean, yes that statement is right. But more then half has something to back it up an article a picture a video the test mules something with some credit and something to show for it not a statement from someone's friend. Anyone can say the stuff above they are threds like this all over in fact you can probably use a search function and add on,less we get a name or something its just another speculator comingup with something again.
