Retrofitting Question

I apologize if this has been brought up before, but I have a question for anyone that has done or knows anything about a retrofit on the FR-S...

I understand that putting a PnP HID kit in a projector housing is not the way to properly change to an HID based light output so therefore (from what I hear and have seen) I need to do a retrofit. I know nothing about retrofitting and have no clue what installation involves on one since I've never done it or where a good place is to get one.

Can someone direct me to a good site where I can order one or knows of a site that has good kits?

I figured if I'm gonna do it I'm gonna do it right rather then do it the wrong way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know they do retrofitting for the Impreza platforms for sure. Should be a good place to start.

Retro-Quik system is really nice but involves opening up the headlights, i have their plug and play kit with bent squirrel finders and i'm happy with it. I may do the projector retrofit down the road if i ever decide to open them up.

Also you can buy their plug and play kit and if you aren't happy with it you can buy the projectors and brackets for $150 later.
