Sounds like air is coming through my doors...
So I had all my windows tinted about two weeks ago and ever since it sounds like air is coming in through both doors towards the front (sounds exactly if u were to crack the windows slightly down). I can clearly hear it especially when on the freeway. I know it had to be when they installed the tint. What could they have done so that I now have this issue?! Has anyone else experienced this after tinting your windows? I'm going in Tuesday to the place, let me know what I should tell them. Please and thank you!!

logically think this through for a minute. Theres nothing the tint shop could have done to cause wind noise. It has to be coincidence, and is probably nothing more than the door seal rolling up as other people have experienced.

Actually *SOME* tint shops will remove windows, trim pieces, etc - or attempt to in order to install the tint. Some may be upfront about this, some not, or you could have got the new guy installer on yours - anything could happen if it's in the back, and you can't see it (most tint places).
I think the best way to go would be to call & explain to the manager what your concern is, and see what he offers to do. If he doesn't offer to at least look at it, then you might mention that you'd like to give a positive review of the shop (usually online), but that you wouldn't feel comfortable doing that until you know that he/she will take care of their customers. There's always the dealer if that doesn't work, too. |
