Sticky Transmission

Is anyone else transmission hard to get into gear....particularly when changing from 1st to 2nd gear and only when its cold. After driving for a little, it shifts just fine.

Many threads on this including upgrading the fluid.....I just had my tranny, clutch and flywheel replaced from your issue plus fourth gear starting to grind.

Mine is difficult when its cold as well. I took it to the dealership~ they drove it a bunch and said it was fine.

They also told me the cricket noise was normal though :P

I test-drove a BRZ owned by my friend and I did notice that 1st to 2nd gear inconsistency. Very strange.
