HID upgrade kit and LED conversion
The kit I ordered from Australia arrived last night, 5 days delivery, customs hit me with a charge, so all in all don't know if I saved much, but at least know I have quality product compared to the inferior lights and globes being advertised on line.
Here is the Parker's and the Fog lights changed to LED Will fit the HID kit and balance of the LED globes on the weakened as provide pics. |

Fitted the full kit, which includes,
HID 11k low beam HID 9005 High beam T10 park LED 5202 PS24W fog LED 1210 LED courtesy light T10 SMD reverse lights T10 LED rear number plate lights T10 boot LED light Fitting the entire set took me around an hour and very straight forward plug in, with the HID ballasts placed on the front absorption column. For those who have the Std model this kit really makes the car look awesome, the white LED and HID certainly attracts more attention than the ugly yellow. |

Been given some info witch I thought good to pass on.
Our 86 lights automatically switch off when you open the door after obviously switching off the car and when you get back in they come on when starting the car. Advise I received was to make sure the light switch is off before starting your car, as the HID lights could blow due to power surge when starting. I am sure Toyota would have tested this on the High spec versions which have HID but those that fit HID kits may be a problem. So not sure if this would apply to any HID light, but worthwhile sharing. The 6000k look so sweet at night, with great visibility. |

Looks a lot brighter than it is, via cell camera.
Nobody going to get too close at night. Lol. Undecided on the red number plate lights, but hey have some fun. The inside red is really awesome, the red stitching and all the red on the doors and seats shine up. Looks like climbing into a cockpit of a jet.
