What's with the bug eyes?

Does anybody else think the headlights and tail lights would look better if they followed the body lines instead of sticking out like they do from the factory?

Tail, yes.
Head, idk.

I liked the tails on the IS350: that slight projection.

Not my photo

I definitely want to see some aftermarket tails that sit flush.

Nope I like the contours instead of the flat appearance

As far as I'm concerned the whole tail light thing is the worst design flaw of the entire car. the lights look like they belong on a 1/24 plastic model next to the cashier in the car wash. I'm expecting that to be one of the first design changes along with the seat belt attachment to the side of the seat back.

If they are more flat, then the body shape would probably have to change a bit. Can't imagine the tail lights just being flat on this car with it looking the same way, but as car as I'm concerned I can't be bothered by it, I think it looks nice the way it is.

I think something along these lines would definitely be an improvement. Not flush or flat (and definitely not clear). A more subtle transition instead of the 90 degree edge and flat upper surface so it doesn't look like it interrupts the other lines of the car. Given the abilities in manufacturing plastics, any shape should be possible so I don't see that it would require a change to the body itself.

As far as the seat belt holder goes, I find it superfluous as well but, for me, it won't be there anyway when I swap out to a set of Sparcos.
