General question on choosing the right stuff

I'm thinking of putting 3 10" subs in here and wanted to know the best choice to get the most bass out of it. Thought about for now just throwing in my audiobahns AW1051se 4 ohm until I get some more funds for the rest. They run 300w rms. now I've always had subs, but never really knew how to match the amp to the sub. Can someone explain it simply to me? Also, the main question is, what power amp to purchase to power future subs that will be running 1000w rms. should I do a couple class D amps or run off of one, maybe a 2 or more channel amp? Sorry for the noobness, just wanna do it right and know what I'm doing.
