vinyl wrap and wolf's hardbody?

I am getting wolf's hardbody instead of opti coat.(my detailer reccomended it and I like what I have seen of it so why not?) and I was going to get a vinyl on my roof. I don't really want to get it vinyled before just because that means it'll be there as long as the coating is there over it...but I was wondering if putting the vinyl OVER the hardbody would have any negative affects on it, and if so, how bad would it be?

The wolf's hard body is not a permanent coating like opti-coat is. It does however last longer than regular wax.

For the vinyl, there shouldn't be any negatives/downsides to the vinyl but it depends heavily on what brand of vinyl is used. If you do a bit of digging you'll find numerous amounts of people who have used vinyl and they can take it off very easily. There are also people who've had the adhesive baked into their clear coat and when they take the vinyl off, it ripped up the clear coat and the paint with it.

As for putting the vinyl over the wolf's hard body... it may not stick. However, your best bet is to just talk to the detailer and see what they say. It also depends on the type of vinyl that is used.

Wolfs lasted maybe 2 months on my car. I actually went back and got OptiCoat. I wouldn't recommend Wolfs....

Looks like Opti Guard is the better one here.
