15" wheel fitmen = no dice

subaru steelie, 15X6 ET55, couldn't even get it flush with the hub, both the steering linkage and caliper pretty much impeded any fitment

my old kosei-k1 15X7 ET38, better but still futile, the caliper would grind the inside of the wheel and so did the steering linkage

so if anyone is looking for 15's, you'll need to get lucky with the inside being thin so you don't grind the caliper, a width of maximum 6, and an offset of around 20-30

looks like 16 is the better way to go.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I would have liked to put on a 15" steelie for a winter tire just due to wheel price.

I figure, per pic I posted here, that it needed about .5" more backspacing, one would need about 5" of total backspacing, which translates to offset roughly as follows

So, something like 15x5.5" ET+40 will work, if it could clear the caliper.
