My friend's exhaust system. I think it sounds quite nice and polite, but not restrained. During light driving it's low-key and no drone inside, then during spirited driving that boxer sound comes out to play to give a nice deep, sporty note. It doesn't sound like a typical subie, almost like a cross between a boxer and a high-revving 4 cyl unit.. I guess that's what it is though so the note seems very fitting. Those tailpipes look tiny. Is this a muffler delete?

no it's just an aftermarket universal muffler welded on, yes I believe that's the chirping people talk about, I've heard it on all FR-Ss also so far. To keep costs down, we decided not to run exhaust tips. That could easily be remedied later though
