scratch on black plastic

A trolley hit the black plastic on my rear bumper n left a ½ in grayish/white scratch. It was really windy that day because of Sandy. Besides heat gun n sharpie, does anyone have a creative way to fix/hide scratch?
I tried sharpie, but it’s too black n you can see it.

You could have the bumper garnish wrapped in the 3M dinoc CF vinyl?
