Injen installed, open/closed hood dynoed

Added injen intake system today. Did a number of pulls on a dynojet

Stock base pull 145.2whp 129.1tq

Removal of the stock system

Adding the injen intake

First pull with hood open after resetting ECU 163.7whp 135tq

Second open hood pull 162.5whp 133.3tq

First closed hood pull (best pull of the day) 165.7whp 132.3

Second closed hood pull 162whp 130.4tq

Comparison between stock and best pull on injen intake

Max gain recorded was 20whp 3tq

Pulls were done on the same day, same hour on 4th gear

Do we have to reset the ECU to get the after effects ? and if so how do we reset the ECU ?

Thanks

No you are right...just need a 10mm wrench and pull off the black wire(negative) leave it off for about 10-20mins and then put it back on. Nice gains, with this car i believe in resetting the ecu with any mod that affects afr and things of that sort(even if it doesnt do anything i will still reset). Just wondering whats up with those weird dips in the graphs, regardless nice gains with the injen

I read this as better top end power but the low rpm power dip has gotten worse with a loss of about 10HP. Am i reading this right???

I had mine installed at a dealer so not sure if they reset the ECU or not ... if they didn't ... can I still do that now ?

Nice gains! Seems like it lost a little bit of power/tq in the lower rpm range though. I wonder if the ECU will compensate down the line and negate any gains?

The more i read about the Injen intake, the more i see impressive results.

How is the drive-ability with it? is idle alright, is it rough?

This is encouraging me to grab an Injen and do some comparisons of my own.

I'm really intrigued at how low your car dynoed stock. My stock pull with ONLY an SRT HB exhaust was 174whp... but I also ran a full unit leaner too (like on your injen run). Take away the exhaust, which is advertised at 10whp and that puts me at 164whp stock... which is what your car ran with Injen.
@Bahraini86, any chance you could email your drf files so I could do a direct overlay in WinPEP?

Wow 10HP??? Could that be real? I mean when do you ever see 10HP from an intake. Especially, it's not even a CAI. Just wondering here...
