Small paint chip

Found a small paint chip on my front bumper. I can ignore it but I don't want it to lead to bigger problems.

I'll be heading to an auto part store to get the appropriate paint (37J - White), a fine brush and a cleaning alcohol. What other things must I consider before and after applying paint?

Nevermind, 5 minutes of google;http://www.ehow.com/how_6129155_repa...int-chips.html

I'm curious as to how this goes as well since I discovered a paint chip the size of my pinky on my bumper as well.
