Grit Guard Sale! $25/2 Hurry Limited Quantities Available! Wash Safe!
![]() Hello Everyone! I am proud to announce Elevated Car Care is now a registered reseller of Grit Guard products. Whenever I detail a vehicle, polish the paint to perfection the #1 question I get asked is how you (the owner) is going to maintain the shine. The #1 reason for swirls and scratches is bad washing habits. The first thing everyone needs to purchase are these grit guards. ![]() This Guards protect you wash media (Sponges, Microfiber Towels, sheepskin wash mits etc...) from touching the bottom of the bucket. Why is that important? Well as you clean a dirty vehicle, the dirt eventually comes off the vehicle, catch on your wash media and collects at the bottom of your buckets(since dirt/debris is heavier then water), this guard makes it so the dirt doesn't get re-scooped onto your wash media and back onto your paint (this is how you scratch it) What kind of bucket does this fit in? This is the original grit guard, this fits in standard 5 gallon circular bucket. These buckets are sold at almost all lowes and home depot stores. Diameter is 10-1/8" of the grit guard or 25.7 cm approx. Please click here for more information on the bucket If this sells well then I can order more, I can also order you different grit guard products but shipping to Canada is expensive. |

I like to just drape my MF's on the edge of my buckets, they never get more than a quarter depth into the buckets. Now if someone could invent a grit guard that would pull dead bug crud down to the bottom, I'd buy that!

Been recommending grit guards to my clients as well. I also like to recommend one blue bucket and one white bucket. so you can keep track which is rinse and which is suds |

Yeah their important if you want to maintain a polishing job some detailer has done for you or if you want to reduce the chance of swirling your own car.
