Terrible radio reception?

Does anyone else have terrible radio reception on FM with their BRZ?

I'm pretty unimpressed with the FM reception, it's not *horrible* but the crummy radio im my truck that cost 10k less than the car does better.

It sucks - constantly goes in and out between HD and regular FM. That's what makes is most noticeable. I noticed there's a setting for analog only FM reception but personally I'd rather not do that.

Its pretty bad in my FR-S. I'm hoping its the tuner but I have a feeling it is the shorty antenna.

I added an aftermarket navigation unit to my FRS and the reception still sucks.

I drove off the lot with dealer not installing the antenna. It was just a nub. DERP. It was in a bag in the trunk. Reception (HD and analog) is fine otherwise for me.

I have been wondering the same thing. I'm going to put the stock antenna back to see if that fixes it. My first oil change is this Sat at the dealership so I intend on letting them know the reception issue.

FM stinks. See other threads about antennas. Needs a longer antenna for FM. Some of the new Fords have an antenna similar to ours but they have a wire winding around the outside of the antenna (you can see it under the rubber coating) and it's a little longer. Not sure of the threads......
