Best place to shop for wheels?
Hard to choose which vendor to buy from.
price? location online? offline? etc. and is it me, or are rims pretty hard to decide on??

Best selection is gonna be online. Problem is you can't really tell how good some of these rims look until you see them in person.
Otherwise, you'll probably have to check out quite a few retail shops local to your area, and even then, they won't stock everything for you to see anyway. That said between Tirerack and Discount Tire, you can see most of the big names. There are some other higher end brands that you won't find there, and if that's your interest, you'll have to go to more of a boutique dealer. Rims are probably the hardest thing to choose from when it comes to customizing your car. There are a ton of options, different form/function, price points, reliability, and brand name loyality to consider. It's also probably the most visible thing you can do to make your car look different than stock so it's well worth it to choose wisely. |

Online is best. I think what we need though is a thread of reputable vendors that sell wheels that fit our cars.
I'm having a hard time deciding on what wheels I want for my BRZ. Price, weight, and color are my primary concerns. |

On-line and local first. Pick through Craig's List.
There are bargains to be had. It will save you shipping expenses and you'll get a wheel in excellent condition. The difference between a new wheel and a used wheel in excellent condition is often negligible, but the savings are real. |
