frs dancing rpms?

my car lately after the roadtrip to NY to NLM motorsport which was awesome btw... has been acting really retarted.
If i go into neutral to stop at a light, it will rev to .9 then .6, then sometimes .4( not stalling but feels a struggle) back to .9 then settle at .6 again..... and its super random but its getting more and more constant.
Im getting worried as ive never had this rpm fluctuating ever in any of my previous owned cars.
any ideas? I have about 5500km on the car btw.

Yea, you've got a long night of reading ahead of you. You can probably skip to the last 5-10 pages of any thread to get the meat of the matter.

I'm in the same boat. I had a long drive to Texas and my car was freaking out ever since. The engine ended up dying while I was driving one day and the dashboard lit up. In regards to your dealership, I'd suggest reading though the CEL/SL posts (especially the one with the list of people who have had the problem) and bring that into your dealership as "ammo". Also quote the people who have posted other dealership and names of reps. And finally, open a case with Scion. That should help with any problems your dealership might have. I figure you probably know a lot of this, just trying to be helpful. I hope everything works out.

Or disable your A/C when the weather allows. Makes RPMs 100% more stable on mine.

When my RPMs drop while in neutral it stops at about 1000 RPM, hesitates, then jumps to about 1200 then drops to about 900 then slowly goes to idle speed. once it gets to idle its fine just does the weird fluctuate as its revs down in neutral. I didnt notice this prior to my fuel pump RnR

Is this normal? Does anyone else notice theirs do this?

Sorry for OT, but why so long of a wait for taillights? I had condensation and had replacements in two days.
