e85

Hey guys, I was just curious about e85.

I understand it is great for forced induction and shows some decent gains with n/a, but how safe is it? By safe I mean in regards to e85 eating away at fuels lines etc. I've heard cases of e85 clogging or messing with the fuel system in various ways.

Is there anything you have to do for preventive maintenance if deciding to use e85? or is it fine as long as you account for 30% more fuel needed.

I rather run e85 as I am in the Long Island area and it is readily available, but was just skeptical of how safe it is for a dd.

Thanks!

Based solely on octane rating its like race gas, not sure if this would cause any burden om the fuel system but interested to see what others have to say.

Don't run it without a professional tune and you should be good to go. Fuel system is fine, no other modifications necessary for N/A on an E-85 tune.
