Check out the opti forums.. the site has certified installers listed for norcal..

You don't have to be certified for opti coat. For opti guard you do have to be certified.

I took my asphalt FR-S to Drew for detailing, paint correction, and opticoat application. He is located in the Belmont/San Carlos area and has my recommendation.

I'm taking my car to California Detailing in San Francisco for the Opti Coat. I checked them on yelp and they got 5stars out of 150plus reviews. Has anyone here tried them ?

Be careful at California Detailing. I called and talked with the owner in late July and asked about their service and opti-coat. He told me a story about how pounds of clearcoat are applied to a vehicle. How can I expect opti-coat, using less than an ounce, to be better and last for the lifetime of the car?

He said that his service uses a coating that is used on jets.

I went to Drew who is a member of this forum.

He detailed my new FR-S with paint correction and applied the opti-coat. Drew is not a silver-tongue salesman, but his work is GOLD!

He is located on the San Francisco peninsula in the Belmont/San Carlos area. I live in San Francisco and it is an easy drive to Drew's Auto Salon Works.

I am dropping my brz off with Drew this weekend, and ill see if he can do a before/after shot. Either way, ill report back Sunday with the results, but I am looking forward to seeing my car at its best.

@Drew I've referred a few guys to you before, though I don't think we've ever met. I've seen your work and I lurk around DB/AG often haha

For those on the peninsula, I don't think you can go wrong with bringing it to Drew. I'm on the other side of the bay (Fremont) for those who needs help.
