Any idea where these bushes go?
I had sent sent Superpro an email asking about these bushes. I asked "Do SPF3818 bushes go in the same location as SPF3907K bushes? Am I correct in saying that SPF3818 replaces OEM bushes while SPF3907K supplements OEM bushes?" but my only reply was a copy & paste from their website.
Crossmember Insert Enhancement Kit Subframe to Chassis Mount Bush Kit It is these 2nd bushes I am asking about. Cheers |

Wouldn't they mount to the Subframe to Chassis points? There are four points to the subframe and eight new bushings.
So wouldn't you press out the OE rubber and insert these? |

The first are inserts that fill some of the voids, the second is a complete replacement. The bushings that fill the voids are much easier to install because you don't have to remove the rear diff and entire subframe and then figure out a way to get the stock ones out. Whiteline also makes the complete replacements (and inserts which probably don't fit), and Kartboy has a similar set of the inserts.

It's great when a company can't tell you about a product they are selling.
This is the reply from an email I received: "Regards to you email for the Subaru brz ,spf3907k is a cross member insert enhancement kit for the brz where the spf 3818k is for the sub frame to chassis mount kit" No help at all. |

Have a look at whitelines videos on Youtube. They have a video of those insert bushes. They just fill the voids in the factory bushes.
