Warning light came on, what could it be?

Hi guys,

The yellow warning with an exclamation sign on the speedmeter side, right below the high-beam indicator. Any idea what it means?

I went to start my car this morning and this light stayed on... Didn't know what it was so I rode the bike in to work on this cold ass morning..

Damn it...

It means low tire pressure.

Side note: Nice Christmas lights, a bit early though, isn't it?

It's the TPMS as stated above. You should really read your owner's manual as there's a lot of information in there including what all the indicator lights are.

QFT.

This is a 30 000$ machine, take care of it and learn how it works.

Also since you didn't read the manual and seems to not know what the warning lights mean, if the oil light ever comes on, DON'T DRIVE IT! STOP THE ENGINE!!! A lot of people don't even know that and kill their motors driving to the dealer/garage …And that's clearly written in any manual to not drive the car with that light on.

Have a good day

I appreciate the advice about reading the manual. guys.
I know what every other warning light means.

This one, I didn't.
I never had a car with the an automatic tire pressure monitoring system. I'm behind the technology curve a bit.

Thanks

That's what the manuals are for I've never had a GT86 before so the first thing i did was to fast check the manual and see what all the lights mean in case they would pop up

It's okay. I was in the same boat. I didn't know what the TPMS light was until it came on a few days ago. I had to check the manual. lol

when its cooler outside air particles get closer together causing the air pressure in you tires to go down, as your tires warm up the air inside your tires will expand causing the pressure to go back to normal. Thats why the light came on, on a cold day

All the cars that I've owned that has TPMS never seems to work right. IMO, they designed them to be too sensitive. Not good if you live in a colder environment.
I always set my tires to 5psi higher than stated on the label. Still, can't get away from the annoying warning lamp.

The lamp on my FRS has been on constantly for the last 2 months. I checked the tires pressure once in a while and they are even 3psi above the door label.

@op you might know by now. just in case the correct tire pressure is also labeled on the frame of the drivers door

^thasts why i inflated mine with N2 ($30). This also affects gas milage, tire life, water condensation & safety in general.
