How I think the FR-S Should Look
So I played around with the car a little bit to make it more clean and have the wheels offered in the same color as the body. I also added a TTRS type spoiler and got rid of the ugly fender Badge. It took me a while to make this, tell me what you think.
Additionally...after listening to what you all had to say I made a second version. Again, sorry if these don't look great. I spent many hours on both though it ma not sow... That said, whatever your opinion is, I would like to hear it; thanks! Last edited by SkitterSkotter; 10-07-2012 at 12:56 AM. |

Looks good but that TTRS spoiler is ugly. But that's just personal taste.

I like the badgeless fenders. But the color matched wheels and spoiler are straight ugly

I'm also not a fan of colored wheels (unless it's something like a competition drift car or something wild like Ken Blocks gymkhana car). Same thing with spoilers; racecar is different, but for a street car it's not my preference. I prefer the clean lines and nice tucked shape of the car sans wing.
The fender badge delete looks clean. |

I prefer it the way it is, to be honest...

I don't own a FR-S; seeing this thread is what it's about... But IMHO I like the way the FR-S sits right now in our dealers' showroom.
That being said; unique is good too!

Honestly, I agree with a lot of you guys. The way the car looks is absolutely stunning. That said, I honestly believe a small carbon spoiler out back would absolutely complete the look.
As a testemate to how it looks someone came up to my car and just looked at it for about 5 minutes..they thought it was $100,000. Honestly, it is one of the rare designs that looks like it costs far more than its actual price. |

The fenders are way too plain without the badging, or a the very least a vent.
Body colored wheels are a big no-no IMO.

I agree the fenders do look very clean, but I'm missing some of the things that break up the car visually, and the result is that it looks bigger than it actually is.

Removing the badge but it ends up looking emasculated. The Scion Eunuch Edition.
However, the wheels look very good. Last edited by FRiSson; 10-06-2012 at 09:06 PM. |

Before I get my flamethrower out , I'll say it's different and I kind of like it, maybe a little too much on that tire shine haha but it's nice, definitely catches the eye .
