Is every Fr-s with Bespoke like this? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I read a thread saying that the aux was not an aux. I use an aux everyday in my current daily driver and would love to have this function from the get-go without having to do a load of rewiring and work..I just want to know what I have in store. The Fr-s I am getting comes with bespoke in about a week or two and I wanted to know how big of an issue this is to fix, if not a big issue at all.

It comes with a cable that has the USB & AUX cord connected that ultimatley plugs into an iPod/iPhone. However if you have your own USB or AUX cord you can plug anything into it and it'll work as an AUX.

My FR-S came with both cables. The proprietary iPod cable and a plain aux cable. Since I have an iPod and iPhone I haven't tried the stand alone aux cable though.

Wierd, mine came with NO CABLES..

I think it might be a dealer thing because most dealers sell the cables. My xD came with both cables as well and it was from the same dealer.

I too did NOT receive a cable for the head unit..

the bespoke only works with an ipod or flash drive, it has no aux
