Wheel Directory: Rota T2R 18x9.5 +38

Here is my 86...... sits on Rota T2R Hyper Black..... 18 inch 9.5j with 38 offset all round... 225 front and 235 rear tyres.... lots of room up front and at the back still... thinking about running spacers even... Running on BC-BR's - front is about 100mm drop

what you guys think?...

back on max.. front must still come down another 8mm or so...

looks really good... although it may just be the picture... but the front wheels look like a different offset, like they stick out more

front is pushed out more stock too.
you have to run lower offset out back for it to be square

how does the car feel now that you have increased the rear width by at least 2"?

Car feels very stable.... its more the front that has improved 10 fold... Even better response off the front... the tyre width and more camber makes turn in that much better, and understeer issues seem to be gone..... Our local circuit time when the car was stock(with 200km on it), i did a 1.18.6...... in my 350z which handles like a beast did a best of 1.15.4.... so im impressed.... I see the suspension set up now getting me to 1.16's......

@Japspec looking sweet bro... where did u get ur wheels from? - Durban has no wheel selection for the 86 which is ultra annoying. How much did u pay for ur BC - BR series coil overs? where did u purchase it from? How do u find the ride? lol Sorry for the 101 questions but here in SA moded 86z are very scarce. cheers

@Hellboy...when I was in the market for wheels I found a company in Cpt that sells rota (www.kaihatsu.co.za).

I also have BC-BR's on my 86 you can contact BC Racing South Africa...they will organize a set delivered to you...you looking around R9.5k (currency dependent)
My perspective the ride is slightly more stiffer than stock even when set 2 clicks from soft but well worth it in terms of looks factor...I didnt like the 4x4 look.

These are my findings and Japspec is welcome to correct.

hey there all.... im in the eastern cape, PE to be exact.... got the first 86 in Eastern Cape and first set of BC's in the country... hahah.. also ordered the wheels before i took delivery....

If you looking for the wheels or the suspension, i am an agent here.....

As for the ride, even on the low setting it doesnt touch on speed bumps.... way higher now even than my 350 with 30mm eibach springs.... If you use to a stiff ride, the car is no different than a drop kit... As for aesthetics, it does wonders.....

IN the speed and sound that would have been a price for V1 coilovers... they are not made currently for the 86, only the BC-BR range... Price is around 9000 or so but must double check... thats excluding delivery... They come through cape town area so if you around there... sending it to you is cheap.......

@Japspec , spoke to BC racing SA the price for the BR series coilovers R9200 and shipment to Durbs around R350 not bad at all coz i see the US selling the BR series at $945. Im thinkn 18" rota - d2 or the p45 r2, what u thinkn ?
