Alan and Amanda's 2013 Satin White Pearl BRZ Ltd.

Bought this kind of on a whim. After seeking to even sit in an FRS/BRZ for several months, on the way home from my weekly cars and coffee I stopped in at the local Subie dealership to see if, by chance, they had one. Wouldn't you know it, they just got one in that morning. It was still covered in plastic and sitting in the back corner of the cage.

Salesguy was really nice and took plenty of time to let me poke around the car but was very clear that no one is allowed to drive them until a deal is basically finalized. That this one was white, and a limited, both of which were exactly what I wanted made it seem this was right for me.

Went home, talked with the wife, she has been wanting to replace her Nissan Cube which was bought from the same dealership (they also sell Nissan). She has also been wanting to learn stick. So this became a great opportunity.

We went to look at the car at the end of the day Saturday. There was another buyer interested in the car who was seeking to trade in a current-model M3. He looked about 17. We weren't 100% sure the BRZ was right for my wife so we went home to sleep on it. If it sold, it wasn't meant to be.

By Monday we had decided to buy it. Luckily, the M3 driver couldn't get his financing in order and had kept the salesmen there till 9:00 trying to make it work. So we told our salesguy we would be there at the end of the day after work and he was nice enough to hold it for us!

By 8:30 we had completed everything and my wife had her new car!!!

After driving it a couple days the car went to my detailer, Oakes Detailing in West Chester, PA for C-Quartz ceramic coating. It is similar in concept to Opti-coat, but slightly different technology. I've seen cars with it 2 years after application looking like they just got waxed.

The car was picked up from the detailer yesterday to attend a local charity car show along with my garage car, a 2008 M5.

Pictures attached of the car the night of pickup, the car at the detailer, and the car at the show with a few votes on it!

Mods to come! In twelve years of BMW ownership, none of my cars have remained stock and my wife's new BRZ will be no exception.

Ask and ye shall receive. The 360 belongs to a friend of mine, also getting ready for the show. Here's a link to the album. A friend organizes it every year as a benefit to Boy's and Girls of Delaware.

Please do not copy any of these photos or post them on other forums. A link to the album is fine.

I know that place. Is that next to A.I. High School? I live like 2 minutes from there.
