Yup h11 and 6k is best imo, very very light hint of of blue but no where near overkill like 8k 10k but whatever floats your boat

Don't get the 6K. Go with the 55W 4500K or 5000K.

whatever color temp you choose dont go with 55watts

55W will blind the everybody in the road.

35w already does what more 55

the FRS' headlight are not made for HIDs

Of course the TRS mod is the way to go. I've been to DDM since they are local and it's all the same China made kits. Since its in halogen projector, it can't produce that much glare.

I have DDM 55 watt in my e36 M3 with ZKW projectors. People flash their high beams at me occasionally. HIDs really are just obnoxious in halogen projectors. Not as bad as non-projectors, but still not great.

I have 4500k in my Honda Fit retrofit. It's the color of the sun more or less so it does a great job of replicating day time lighting conditions. For practicallity I would say 4500k or 5k if you are thinking something a hit more exotic. I personally can't stand blue lights but that may be because of all the cars here that have them. Gets obnoxious.

that we know, but the 55w vs 35w in a halogen housing wont really matter, its still brighter than stock and the projectors themselves are very sharp with minimal glare, i have yet to be high beamed or flashed by anyone plus other people i drive with dont complain about any glare even when i asked

i recently bought a hid kit from ddm tuning, and i got the 6000k bulb color 35w, its very bright with some blue, i love the look! heres some pictures

stock vs 6000k:

it looks more blue in pictures than in person

with HIDs installed:

stock headlights:

i will do cutoff later if anyone is interested. and yes i already bent down squirrel finders, and the glare seems to be gone for the most part, that tiny bit is hardly even glaring..

Can you do a mini writeup on how you bent down the squirrel finders? For example do you have to open the headlights to bend them down?

Thanks,
Victor
