Bad gas?
Anyone have any problems with bad gas? My car suddenly developed power issues after a fill-up of premium gas. The car bogs down when the A/C is on, loses power on hills. If feels like someone is lightly applying the brakes at times. It is nothing extreme like the EC issue, just a sense that power has been reduced about 25%. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't sense the problem (typical), but they suggested it might have been bad gas. I have always used 93 or a couple of times 91 when 93 is not available. So far I have used one tank of Shell 93 to see if the problem might clear.

Its possible that the gas that you fueled up on has higher ethanol content then what you usually fill up on. Ethanol requires more fuel to produce the same power.

That's a good thought Xanatos, but 15% ethanol blends are not being sold in the Northeast currently.
