Gram Light 57xtreme Look-a-Like Alternatives
I'm in love with the Gram Light 57xtreme but not sure that I can convince the wife to love them at the prices I've been seeing.
Can anyone recommend some alternatives that have the similar look that are more affordable. Thanks in advance. |

Thanks for the suggestion guys.
I think from a pattern perspective the OZ ones look the closest. The XXR looks like a mesh wheel but i do like the concavity. The Rota also look more mess than split spoke. No concavity. |

Forgestar has a new model coming out in the next few weeks callled the CF5V with a 10 spoke design. It's a similar split spoke design. It's not on the main website yet but they showed a few pics on their facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...7959870&type=1 Custom made forged wheels, made in the USA, FR-S/BRZ fitment is available. About 40% less money than the Rays.

The OZ superleggera looks similar, not look alike though. The 19x8 is forged. But, Not concave.
Edit. Damn, the ultraleggera might even be closer. |

Those forgestar don't look anything like them, sorry.
The closest is the OZ, I'm deciding on buying them for my winter wheel or not right now. Tough decision ^_^ |

For what they are, I think they are reasonably priced.
At any rate, don't settle, get what you really want. Save up and get the 57 xtremes. you don't need wheels now, they are a luxury item, you can wait.
