Anyone with an ECUTek cable in NOVA?
My car started doing something interesting after installing an Airaid intake. The issue is best described as hitting a hard fuel cut that feels like a brick wall around 5k RPM's. The car shakes violently and it feels so severe that you should never want it to happen again.
I called John Visconti today to pick his brain about the issue as I have not read anyone on the forums post about this particular problem. We speculated about it and discussed possible solutions, but in the end we need to know what the ECU is doing. I would like to capture a datalog of it, so he can analyze it and hopefully tune it away. Is there anyone in the area with an ECUtek cable that I could borrow to do this? I plan to post a detailed thread that includes a video of this problem in another thread. (I will link it here when its done.) Thanks |
